St. Patrick’s Senior Center provides transportation with a courteous driver to non-emergency medical appointments and shopping/errands within the metropolitan Detroit area. Rider(s) must live in the Detroit Area Agency on Aging 1-A service area.  Boundaries are generally limited to 10 miles outside the city limits; please call for details.

Detroit, Hamtramck, & Highland Park

Eligibility Requirements:

Rider(s) must be 55 or older and live within the Detroit Area Agency on Aging 1-A service area.

Advanced Notice Needed:

Just to let you know, at least seven days advance notice is required. It’s been recommended to give as much notice as possible.

Service Fees:

Ambulatory Rate - $10 Round Trip for rides within Detroit, Hamtramck, & Highland Park; Outside of the city, rates range from $15-$45 each way
Wheelchair Rate - Starting at $30.00 each way
St Patrick's Senior Center only travels to some area suburbs. Please call to see if they can accommodate your trip.
A sliding scale fee may be available.
